EMLYN WILLIAMS

NIGHT MUST FALL

An Original Theatre Company and Salisbury Playhouse Production in association with Eastbourne Theatres

It’s frightening to think what a face can hide…

When Dan, a charming, smooth-talking hotel porter arrives unexpectedly at old Mrs Bramsom’s remote woodland home he soon ingratiates his way into her life and that of her beautiful niece Olivia. But when a local woman goes missing and rumours in the press of a murder surface among the household, fingers begin to point towards the dashing hotel porter. Has the past finally caught up with Dan and could he really be capable of murder? As the police close in, and with the press baying for blood, is anyone safe?

This psychological thriller has all the tension, atmosphere and suspicion of the best British mysteries from master playwright Emlyn Williams that will leave you at the edge of your seat.

“This revival proves, not just how influential the play was in its day, but also how effective it still remains.” ★★★★ Mark Shenton, The Stage

“A Killer Thriller to knock ’em dead…By the end I was jumping out of my skin at every bump and every owl-hoot.” Quentin Letts, The Daily Mail
