 | | Adam Best: Mason
Adam was born and raised in County Down, Northern Ireland. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and soon after graduating appeared on the West End in "By the Bog of Cats" (Ghost of Joseph Swane). During this time, Adam also began filming "Holby City", playing Student Doctor Matt Parker for two series. Following this, he has appeared in a number of TV dramas, most recently "Waking The Dead". Adam recently finished making the feature film "Cup Cake" for Northern Ireland Screen. He is very excited about getting back onto the stage with "Journey's End". |
 | | Alastair Whatley: Hardy
Alastair founded The Original Theatre Company in 2005 having graduated from Royal Holloway University. Directing credits include Mallard starring Steven Pinder(2009) and national tours of Shakespeare’s R&J (2008), Twelfth Night (2005), The Taming of The Shrew (2006) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2006). He has also directed The Merry Wives of Windsor (2006) and Henry V (2007) for South Hill Park Arts and rehearsed readings of Beneath The Marble Palaces and Mallard (2008). 2010 sees him directing the first touring revival of The Madness of George III by Alan Bennet.
Acting credits include Michal MacLiammoir’s one man show The Importance of Being Oscar (Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds and tour) which will tour again internationally in 2010, Vincent in Brixton, Henry V at The RSC and at South Hill Park, Romeo and Juliet, Robin Hood, Aladdin, Twelfth Night (National Tour), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Harrogate Sun Pavilion and National Tour), and A Desire to Kill on Tip of The Tongue (Edinburgh Festival).
As a producer he has worked on all the Company's past shows, from Twelfth Night in 2005 to Vincent in Brixton and Othello in 2009.
He received The Max Cary Award for innovation from The Univeristy of London and is an associat for Anvil Arts in Basingstoke and South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell.

Christopher trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His theatrical credits include ‘After Miss Julie’ and ‘People at Sea’ (Salisbury Playhouse), ‘Man of the Moment’ and ‘Private Fears in Public Places’ (Northampton Royal), ‘Lie of the Land’ (Arcola Theatre), ‘See How they Run’, ‘Separate Tables’ and ‘Volpone’ (Royal Exchange), ‘Strange Orchestra’ and ‘Adam Bede’ (Orange Tree), ‘Twelfth Night’ (Thelma Holt Productions), ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ (Sprite), ‘You Were After Poetry’ (High Tide), ‘As You Like It’ (Arundel Festival), ‘Mojo’ (Bedlam Theatre), ‘King Lear’ (Bristol Old Vic), ‘While the Sun Shines’ and ‘Hay Fever’ (CV Productions) and ‘Tabloid Caligula’ (Tror Taa & KLN Productions) at the Arcola Theatre then the transfer to New York.
Along with the theatre, Christopher has worked within film, his credits for which include acting as Cliff Last in ‘Housewife, 49’ (ITV1) which won two BAFTAs and an EMMY. Other television includes ‘Life on Mars’ (Kudos and BBC1), ‘The Bill’, ‘Rosemary and Thyme’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘The Great Escape’ (ITV), ‘The Roman Mysteries’ and ‘Doctors’ (BBC1), ‘Long Term’ (HTV) and ‘A Board of Arts Guide to Film Making’ (Rubberductions for E4).
Film credits include ‘Charlie’ (Midas Films), ‘The Observer’ (Fortune Films) and ‘Living in Hope’ (Fluidity Films) and ‘Rules of the Game’, a short directed by Tom Daley for Strike Films, which was selected as one of the top four entries at Shorts Corner in Cannes this May and was nominated for Short film of the year at Raindance 2009. |

Graham trained at RADA and made his professional debut with Sir John Clements’ Company at The Chichester Festival.
Theatre credits include Toad of Toad Hall (West End), Me and My Girl (Adelphi Theatre), Relatively Speaking and Confusions (National Tour), Design For Living (English Touring Theatre), Twelfth Night (BAC), Translations (Watford and tour), A Chaste Maid of Cheapside (Almeida and tour), Someone to Watch Over Me (Frankfurt), An Eligible Man (New End, Hampstead), The Skin Game (Orange Tree) Nelson (Nuffield, Southampton), Present Laughter (Theatr Clywd), French Without Tears (Mill at Sonning), and many repertory seasons including Birmingham, Greenwich, Library Theatre Manchester and Perth.
Notable Television experience includes I Claudius, Edward VII, Brideshead Revisited, Mike Leigh’s Who’s Who, Victoria Wood Sketches, Jeeves and Wooster, Crossroads, Prime Suspect, Nature Boy, Dinnerladies, Station Jim, Band of Brothers, The Chatterley Affair, Doctors, Midsomer Murders and He Kills Coppers.

 | | Hubert Mainwaring Burton: German Soldier
This is Hubert's professional stage debut. He is currently auditioning for several Drama Schools with the hope of obtaining a place and training as an actor. He is hugely excited to be working with The Original Theatre Company and The Icarus Theatre Collective again having been involved in their production of Shakespeare's ‘Romeo and Juliet’ helping backstage.
Previous theatre credits include: ‘Twelfth Night’ (Sir Andrew Aguecheek),’The Lieutenant of Inishmore’ (Davey) and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (Puck). Also, at The Edinburgh Festival: ‘The Actor’s Nightmare’ (Dame Ellen Terry) and ‘Neville’s Island’ (Angus).

 | | Knight Mantell: Colonel
A graduate of Manchester University’s drama department, Knight has more than 40 years experience as actor, director, writer and theatre producer. He has played opposite Alec Guinness, Maggie Smith, Alistair Sim, Topol, Margaret Leighton, Gary Wilmot and John Inman in many parts ranging from Dracula to Archie Rice, Salieri to Widow Twankey. He has toured with Equus, The Canterbury Tales and as Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers. He was founder director of Channel Theatre Company and Lyceum Productions mounting productions of Therese Raquin, The Norman Conquests, Everyman and Don Juan in Hell. He has directed opera in Hong Kong. Work with the British Actors Theatre Company includes Coupler in The Relapse as well as directing The Dresser with Ian Lavender and most recently The Rivals. Television work includes Lillie, Dempsey and Makepeace, Martin Chuzzlewit and Game On. Film work includes The Fool with Derek Jacobi and Wild Justice with Roy Schneider. |

 | | Zachary Holton- Sergeant Major
This year Zac celebrates twenty five years working as a theatre professional in many guises, towards the end of 2008/09 he was performing as Captain Hook in the Little Theatres pantomime in Sherringham Norfolk, he then went on to Direct Jane Austen's Emma for Heartbreak Productions open air national summer tour and then found himself as Stage Manager for Icarus Theatre Collective & Original Theatre Company's highly acclaimed production of Othello. He was delighted to be working so close to home this Christmas on Cinderella at the Palace Theatre Newark, being a Nott's lad living in Nottinghamshire with his wife Tracey (very proud of her achieving her goal after a lot of hard work becoming a student at Nottingham Trent University) and their three boys Sam, Nikolas and Tyler. Zac is delighted to be back on stage treading the boards as the Company Sergeant Major in the national tour of R.C. Sherriff's ‘Journey's End’. Previous acting credits include ‘Singin' In The Rain’ with Tommy Steele in the UK and Tokyo, two national tours of ‘The Hobbit’ playing various characters including Gandalf and Smaug the Dragon and the Giant in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ Nottingham Playhouse to list but a few. Zac hopes you have a wonderful evening at the theatre watching a very talented cast in this evenings performance and hopes you will grace us again soon with your presence to keep theatre audiences live and vibrant for the foreseeable future. |
